Recovery is a key component of a professional athlete's life.

Professional athletes have access to any tool they want to help them recover and perform the next day.

But they also put in the time.

The time after a hard workout to do a little extra work. To stretch. To chat with coaches and reflect on their performance.

We may not be professional athletes, but we should spend time recovering too.

Breaking down the presentation we gave today, and asking for feedback.

Documenting the process for the thing we built, so we can pick it up again in the future.

Getting enough sleep so we can perform well again tomorrow.

Recovery and reflection isn’t only for professional athletes.

It’s for all of us who care enough to make the time.
