We all want to live a good life.
Where most of us fail is in clarifying what that means.
The definition is different for everyone.
But there are similarities.
Tim Ferriss has often grouped learnings into “Healthy, Wealthy, and Wise.”
If we consider happiness as part of wisdom, that covers what most of us want.
What needs clarification, though, is why we want those things.
We say we want to be fit, but what we really want is to play with our grandkids.
We want to be wealthy, but what we really want is the freedom to do what we want each day.
The first step: write down what you want. What does living a good life mean to you?
Then ask “Why?” until you get to the real reason.
Clarifying your good life is the first step towards living it.
